They're Off!

I have seen pictures off this on other people's blogs and thought that they were so cool and wondered if my folder full of papers would ever look like this. These are all the forms that the Sec. of State certified. They all were sent to our agency last Thurs. Our birth and marriage cert. will hopefully be following close behind! They are checking the papers over and when everything is there, the packet will go to DC. Eeeeks, it's getting closer to Ethiopia! :)

Hi Laura!
It was great seeing you Sunday! Congratulations on checking off another step on your list. How exciting to be just one step closer to your precious boy in Ethiopia! I just found out that you're adopting along with several of my friends :) I'll keep you in my prayers!
Love,
Dawn Tanner

I have to say-when I saw dossier photos on others' blogs, I always wondered the same thing. But, now that you see YOUR photo, it seems unreal, huh?! :)

Yeah!!! What a great feeling to have it all (almost) done. It is both exciting and scary to send those last papers in knowing that you are one giant step closer to being joined with your son! I think the harder part comes once all the paperwork is done and you are truly at the mercy of God (and the adoption agency) waiting on His time. Hopefully your wait won't be long:)
