Bella got her first real haircut. At 4! Our girls take forever for their hair to really come in and thicken up. She only had a tiny bit trimmed off because she wants it to get really long.. like Rapunzel.. that should be interesting to try to comb out. You can kind of see how long it is though when you pull it straight. Almost double. I am going to have to straighten it some day for fun.
Yes... Taye is wearing underwear. I didn't want to deal with this yet. I hate public restrooms, touching everything, ahhhh! I was planning on waiting until after Christmas-- diapers with a lot of traveling are really nice. I want him to be a baby for a while. The signs were there though. Waking up dry after 12 hours (yeah, he has also been sleeping through the night consistently for a month!!!). Asking to be changed right after he would go in his diaper. He could practically change his own diaper for pete's sake. Then, we switched him from his high cal formula to lactose free milk. I was thinking about not buying formula and started thinking about not buying diapers either. The next thing I knew, I was in the basement digging out Breck's tiniest undies. The next few weeks should be interesting. :)

It's so fun to see the kids! And great that you got in one of the last Sat.am farmer's markets before they end! But who would have ever thought of brussel sprouts?? :-) I love that picture, especially the plate of pears on the table in the background, which makes me lonesome for your house.
oh my goodness...i can't believe how long bell's hair is! amazing.
When I see your girls, I'm taken back SEVREAL (I feel old) years to grade school with Kevin. :) What cuties. Woo hoo for the undies. We're doing that here too. I always dred thinking about doing it, but am so glad I did once it's done.
Great photos from your weekend. Speaking of brussels sprouts, check out my recipe in the Indy cookbook - (the only change I've made is that I roast them/not boil them. It has a great dijon sauce that goes with it. Couldn't believe Bella's hair - she looks so grown up! That is a big deal that Taye is wearing little undies - he's such a cute thing.
Okay, that picture of Taye in his underwear is absolutely amazingly hilarious. He looks so proud; and skinny legs with big red undies is just funny. I miss that guy like crazy. (and all of you!)
Good luck with the potty training! Taye looks adorable!
We are in the midst of potty training also...not going perfectly, but she will eventually get it :) I'll think of you while I am sitting in the bathroom with Abeba for 15 min waiting for something to happen :) The kids look great, hope all is going well!
